A TRIBUTE TO A FRIEND AND COLLEAGUE:

It is with heavy hearts that the team at Metahab must say “good bye” to Dr. Gonzales Shushereba and her unborn daughter, Cecilia Rose. She was cruelly and tragically taken while doing the work she was passionate about - caring for returning wounded and struggling soldiers with severe PTSD at Pathway Home in Yountville, CA. We also want to acknowledge her significant assistance toward the academic and clinical content of Metahab. Early on in her career, she brought necessary organization and expert contributions to program development and delivery.  Dr. Gonzales Shushereba’s vision, information and high standards regarding Metahab’s overall mission, specifically involving content regarding veterans, firefighters and other first responders, was outstanding. She was the perfect clinical adviser, seamlessly threading extensive professional knowledge with intuition and compassion. We miss you and want to thank you for your loving kindness and support throughout the years. God Bless you and Cecilia Rose. Both of you are forever in our hearts, prayers and in the message and mission of Metahab. Dr. Jennifer Gonzales Shushereba’s work will continue to be acknowledged in Metahab’s programs and publications.
